The Foundation
Forged in Makurdi.
Destined for Greatness.
Mount Saint Gabriel's Secondary School wasn't just an institution; it was a crucible. It was where boys from diverse backgrounds were molded into men of honor, discipline, and profound ambition.
The Class of 2013 stands as a testament to that rigorous foundation. We shared dormitories, dining halls, and dreams. Today, those dreams are our reality. We are innovators, healers, builders, and leaders.
“We came from the same halls. Now we are building the future together.”

In Honour of Very Rev. Fr. Angus Fraser, MFR
Some individuals pass through an institution and leave memories. Others dedicate their lives to building it, shaping its culture, defining its values, and transforming countless lives in the process. Very Rev. Fr. Angus Fraser, MFR, belongs firmly to the latter.
For over four decades, Fr. Fraser devoted himself to the growth and development of Mount Saint Gabriel's Secondary School, leaving an indelible mark on generations of students who walked through its gates. Through his unwavering commitment to academic excellence, discipline, faith, character formation, and service, he helped establish a standard that continues to distinguish the institution and its alumni today.
To many, he was more than a principal. He was a mentor, a guide, a disciplinarian, a teacher, and a father figure whose influence extended far beyond the classroom. His belief in the potential of every student inspired young boys to become responsible men, principled leaders, and productive members of society.
“The values that unite us as members of MSGOBA 2K13 — brotherhood, integrity, resilience, excellence, and service — are deeply rooted in the foundation he helped build.”
Though generations have come and gone, the legacy of Fr. Angus Fraser continues to live on in the lives of the thousands of students he influenced, the institution he strengthened, and the enduring spirit of Mount Saint Gabriel's Secondary School.
As we celebrate our journey as Old Boys, we pause to honour a remarkable educator, missionary, mentor, and builder of men. His life's work remains a lasting testament to the power of vision, sacrifice, and selfless service.
His legacy is not merely remembered — it is lived every day through the lives of those he helped shape.
Ad Multos Annos, Fr. Angus Fraser. Your light continues to shine through generations.

“Fr. Fraser didn't just run a school — he built men. Every lesson, every correction, every expectation he had of us was designed to make us better. I carry that with me every single day.”
